Macbook's - Classic Style but context?

Macbooks are the current style icon amongst laptop owners - their stylised laptop cases make them stand out from the other laptops, even really expensive laptops from manufacturers like sony are seen as unnatractive or poorly designed in comparison to the finessed macbook and macbook pro. There is downsides to this stylised highly designed look can come at a little price hike, coupled with the slight lack of a gaming grade laptop - their macbook pro's however are high high end and do offer a lot of power and functionality - they just lack the brute game / 3d rendering of the gaming laptops available from acer and sony.

Comparing a macbook to the other brands of laptops is a bit like comparing a horse to a donkey - while they may both have 4 legs and offer capacity there is fairly substancial differences. As well as the aforementioned style icon status that the macbook has created for itself it also has the fallback of the MAC operating system, macosx is so stable that it has been called windows beating. Now the numbers of sold units proves thats not true but the ease of use and virus-free lifestyle of a mac user does appeal to a lot of - It quite often comes down to personality - macusers are macusers - and pc users are pc users - or so says the ad - so do you think style and stability are the key points for your new laptop? if so macbook all the way!
